Magview Luminary
powers breast centers
of the future!

From the moment your patient arrives and care begins, MagView Luminary has the tools you need to power your Breast Center of the Future. Our focus on the Patient Experience, Radiologist Empowerment, Outcomes, Data Insight, and Compliance make Luminary the ideal solution for your mammography center’s needs.

Patient Experience

Patient Experience is a key focus for breast centers of the future. With Luminary, we have built-in tools that help to elevate your patients’ experience, promoting your facility and focusing on patient care.

  • Tyrer-Cuzick version 8 – Luminary supports the latest version of this comprehensive risk model.
  • Patient Portal – This online resource has an updated look and feel.
  • TechPad™ – Untethering your technologists from workstations and putting the power of MagView on a tablet or iPad empowers them to spend more time with their patients.

Radiologist Empowerment

MagView Luminary offers a more streamlined design and other tools to promote the most efficient radiologist workflow. We took the feedback from several leaders in the field and named the version after their luminary efforts in the field of breast image interpretation.

  • Luminary Worklist – This feature allows radiologists to collaborate on imaging in real-time and navigate between pertinent systems in order to streamline their daily workflow.
  • Enhanced Darkroom Mode – We keep making improvements to this optional setting, allowing readers to configure the display to best fit their environment.
  • Live Retrieve – Users can now request prior images from a PACS archive in real-time; this is especially beneficial when paired with the EQUIP or Re•View modules.
  • Hologic SecureView Version 10 – Luminary supports the ‘mark-as-read’ functionality, which allows MagView to trigger the exam flags in Hologic.

Meaningful Outcomes

Our users, regardless of workflow, rely on MagView for meaningful outcome data. Luminary adds on to 25+ years of experience in the field with updated tools that match the ever-changing requirements. You have come to rely on MagView for this information; we value that trust and will continue to keep your facility informed and up-to-date.

  • Quality Assurance – These reports have been enhanced with more focused information relevant to assessing radiologist performance and measuring statistics for the entire group.
  • Re•View – As a teaching tool or continuing education, this module allows for review of studies with known outcomes to bolster existing assessments or identify reporting trends.

Data Insight

Whether simply for QA statistics or for more thorough reporting for accreditation, Luminary provides updated and clarified data analysis through existing and newly-created system reports. Our refined reporting system answers your questions on what reports are necessary for ideal workflow, while including improvements to both speed and methodology for running them.

  • Clarity – Organized report categories; report generation in the background; scheduled reporting; results available via email. You asked for these changes, and we are proud to provide them. Luminary takes system reporting to the next level and beyond with Clarity.
  • NMD 3.0 – MagView was the first MIS approved for this updated version by the ACR; as the BI-RADS Atlas changes, so do we.
  • NQMBC Report Enhancements – Our relationship with the NCoBC as a vendor partner allow us the ability to provide the most up-to-date requirements as soon as they are released. Luminary has the latest calculations included and will continue to be updated as they evolve.

  • EQUIP – New FDA requirements stipulate that imaging facilities must have a program in place for reviewing images to improve quality. This module can help your facility comply with this measure and avoid potential penalties from your audit.
  • MIPS – We have partnered with the ACR to bring you MIPS submission made easy using the ACR’s QCDR submission method.
  • Credential Management Module – Luminary provides a one-stop resource for keeping track of your users’ accreditation needs, including ARRT and other vital credentials.
