Federal Breast Density Law – How Will You Comply?
A federal bill was signed on February 15th, 2019 which states all mammography providers must include updated information about breast density in reports sent to both patients and their physicians.
We Anticipated This!
The functionality needed to comply with the federal legislation already exists in MagView. For customers in states with a standing density law, we’ve automated the entire process in their MagView system. MagView includes each patient’s breast density assessment and associated verbiage in the patient notification letter and the report to the referring physician without any additional button clicks.
The FDA will release exact reporting requirements, and MagView stands ready to support you.
