Film Librarian

MagView’s Film Librarian provides quick and easy tracking of your films that have been sent out, and outside images/CDs that have been sent to you. The "Film Status" worklist gives you a snapshot of where your films are, whose films you have, and all overdue films. Generate overdue letters, mailing labels, film labels, and batch process stacks of films with the swipe of a barcode.

Film Librarian tracks a complete history for both internal studies, as well as outside films and image CDs that are sent to you. Staff can record: where films are sent; who receives films; how many films are sent; delivery method; and custom notes such as tracking numbers or signee.

MagView’s Film Library provides an on-demand snapshot of all outside films that you have, as well as internal films that you have sent. At any time you can filter for films that are overdue to be returned from/to your facility.

Film Librarian automatically generates overdue reports and letters for checked-out films. When checking-in external films, MagView allows staff to print mailing and jacket labels to prevent images/CDs from being lost.

MagView’s Film Librarian supports batch check-in and batch check-out using a Windows-compliant barcode reader. Armed with a barcode reader and without having to open each patient individually, staff can work directly out of the Film Batch window to check-in out all films.
