MagView's MIPS Module
The ACR National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR™) has been approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for MIPS in the 2017 program year. Under the MIPS, physicians and group practices will be able to meet the quality reporting requirements by participating in the ACR NRDR.
MagView Makes MIPS Easy
By using the ACR QCDR to participate in the MIPS program, radiologists can avoid the -5.0% PQRS 2019 payment adjustment and qualify for a positive payment adjustment of up to 4%.
The MagView MIPS Module allows you to generate and submit PQRS and approved non-PQRS measures to the ACR QCDR based on data you are already collecting in MagView. Participating in the 2017 program year will help your group avoid Medicare reimbursement penalties of 5% or potentially, even more in 2018 and beyond. However, groups who participate in PQRS have the opportunity to increase reimbursement by up to 4% the first year.

THE MAGVIEW MIPS MODULE
The MagView MIPS Module allows groups to comply with the requirements of MIPS, and submit data as required to qualify for participation in the MIPS quality program, and avoid CMS reimbursement penalties. There are three steps involved in the MIPS implementation process: Configuration, Review, and Submission.
Your assigned MagView Project Manager will work with you to obtain the required information, and discuss options for which reporting measures best suit your group. MagView will contact the ACR and obtain a key that allows MagView to upload data directly from our MagView for MIPS Quality / PQRS Measures. NMD and GRID measures will be generated and uploaded into the NRDR website. MagView will create an off-line copy of your system for submission that is separate from production. This will allow us to make any necessary changes to the submission system to prepare your data for submission, with no impact on your production environment.
Once the MagView MIPS Module has been configured, the MagView team will generate the submission files and review with you each measure to be submitted. You will be able to review the results of the MIPS measures from MagView prior to submission and review for any discrepancies or unexpected values. If there are any issues with the measures, we will review this and take corrective action. Once the data has been successfully generated, your MagView Project Manager will guide you through the submission process. NMD and GRID files will be uploaded into the appropriate place under the ACR NRDR website.
Once the files are uploaded the website will immediately present feedback regarding how many records were submitted, how many were accepted and how many were rejected. We will review any rejected records and work with you to correct and resubmit the data.
