We first met Dr. Mitchell in 1997, when she was Director of Clinical Operations and Administrative Affairs for the University of Oklahoma Breast Institute. The University has used MagView for all breast imaging scheduling, reporting and tracking. Dr. Mitchell has recently opened a new breast center, Breast Imaging of Oklahoma, where she and her partners offer the following services:

• Digital mammography with CAD
• Breast Ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Computer-aided detection
• Stereotactic breast biopsy
• Ultrasound breast biopsy and other interventional procedures
• Ductography/breast localizations
• Bone densitometry
• High-risk screening and genetic counseling

MagView is used to automate and manage all information throughout the practice, including radiology information management, scheduling, clinical reporting, mammography tracking and report archiving. MagView is used throughout the enterprise, connecting five locations. The group is currently implementing a complete DICOM interface between MagView and each of the imaging modalities, and between MagView and the GE RadWorks image archive.
